Reading and Writing Tasks (4)

I recently read the articles on the shooting massacre at Sandy Hook Elementary School. A gunman shot his mother and killed 20 children that day. There were also many stories about the principal and teachers sacrificing their live to save the school and the children. It is really sad to hear about these kinds of situations happening in the world, how children lose their lives at such a young age for no reason. I also really admire the principal and the teachers, one of whom was Ms Victoria Soto, who hid her students in a closet before getting shot by the gunman, saving those children. There were quite a few articles on those kinds of incidents and I think this particular one really opened people’s eyes.
